Owen (the main character) is addicted to this show because he sees himself in Isabel. many trans people experience latching onto a fictional character, celebrity who is the opposite gender etc and become obsessed with that person because they see their self in that person and imagine life living as the opposite gender like that person. Owen feels like Isabel but he rejects the idea for many years. Maddy says she's been to the pink opaque (meaning she's discovered she's discovered her true identity as gay) and she tells Owen that she knows he feels these things deep inside. she says the longer you suppress those feelings then the more you feel like your suffocating which yes it does feel like that. Se also says that if you suppress your emotions then Mr Melancholy (the tv shows bad guy who represents depression and melancholy obv) will take over and your life will be insufferable and painful. the dialogue and acting is very awkward and it's like that because when you hold those feelings down so long you have nothing else to say and you want to say how you feel but it's hard to. The movie is one big metaphor for being transgender. It's one of those films that if you're not in the very specific audience its aimed for then you'll never understand it the same as those who it was made for. made by trans people for trans people. hope this helped.

There was once a creepy episode of Fear Itself about the Wendingo. That was the unofficial third season of Masters of Horror. The couples in remote woods in peril are so cheap to shoot, so I guess this fits that mold.

As a screenwriter writer filmmaker myself..I thought this movie was not good at all..there's no unique story line..no emotional connection...like diary of mad black woman..or.acrimony..I felt those.women pain...was connected to there story and growth...this movie makes no sense...nor do the character actions..Dallas is just a mad abusive man for no reason..Meagan good is the perfect saint..no different than any other Tyler film...ironically Cory hardict is the only semi decent actor in the film...he played his role

Falcon never said he was better than Steve just that he's not Steve for all you know the next line is I'm not Steve I'm me or he might praise that he's not as good 2nd we know he BECOMES the red Hulk not that he is the characters in the story don't know if he is already or when he becomes 😅 your asking where's the danger in a question that the movie might answer how are you a screen writer ? There's not proof that he's already been a hulk just the trailer shows that he becomes one for all we know the bad guys are trying to turn him into one to give him a bad image

Falcon was always better teamed up with Cap, representing the Air Force while Cap represented the Army. That scene running down the hallway and jumping through a window is so tired. And it looks like the ban on beautiful women is still in force in Disney productions . . . if Liv Tyler was in the trailer I didn't see her. Is "has the entire world seeing red" going to be some kind of reference to 'red-pilled', red states, red for Republican, etc.? It might be good but clearly its not a Barbie nor an Oppenheimer level movie so I can't see it breaking a billion.

Interesting how people describe Vineland and Millville as having a gang mentality. I see both towns to be the opposite of gangland. Its mostly cowboy hats, pick up trucks, KKK, the music of Led Zeppelin and CCR...which imo is lousy music. I didnt like that music back in 1970. People in Vineland, Millville, and Mayslanding treat that music like a religion. They make references to it like its written by the son of God. Music isnt confined. Its an art form that follows many paths..but when living in an area where there is a redneck mentality in the social environment there is no culture. Mayslanding , Vineland and Millville have amateur bar bands for entertainment. Tribute bands at Landis theater..and Levoy theater. People who live there are generally screwball. As they fix their coffee in the Wawa dont be surprised if you overhear them defending local murderers who were incarcerated for shooting innocent people. They also cover up the fact that there are dangerous cults at Menantico...in the Pine Barrens and that they live in Vineland. Phony religion, horrible music, murder, cults, child molestation, ritualistic killings, and disappearances...have been on going in Vineland...Millville..and Mayslanding for decades. Clean it up!!!

That's what they've got from critical theory - an obssession with power to where its accumulation is a goal in itself, a good on its own without consideration to its just use, and that poiwer must belong to approved groups. So, we get a bevy of Mary Sue characters, origin stories revising origin stories to take power away from those evil (white) men, but then dead end story lines since they've not thought about what to do with that power.

Last version I saw was I think about 150 odd minutes. Train wreck of a movie but oddly fascinating. Not sure I want to sit through an extra half hour of it.

I agree with saying that Denzel looks strong in the trailer.....but Pedro and the other guy who looks like Pedro come off pretty weak. And the extra pale emperor looks goofy....like Mad Max level cheesy.
